Rainbow Connection Granny Coat
π€ ALL SALES ARE FINAL SO PLEASE READ CAREFULLY π€
This is made from one or more secondhand afghans, likely vintage age, so there are flaws. All seams inside are raw and construction is simple. The seam excess may require trimming after the first wash or two. By making a purchase, you are stating that you have read, understood, and agree with my Shop Policies (which includes the Materials and Construction sections). No returns or exchanges. If you have questions that are not answered in the listing or FAQ, please ask.
Currently shipping to US & Canada.

FEATURES: pretty and funky crochet in assorted rainbow colors, traditional coat shape, wide puffed 1940s-inspired sleeves, fringed edges, cardigan front (no closures)
WEIGHT/STRUCTURE: medium weight, dense
FABRIC CONTENT: unknown for sure- likely acrylic
OTHER NOTES: Overall fuzziness from past washes. The yarn has a shininess to it - see close-up photo. Not sure if that's how it always was? Also noticed a few of the front fringe pieces have been braided. (I did not attempt to undo it.)
SIZE: The following measurements are listed in inches and are taken with garment flat so please double the number where appropriate (waist, chest, sleeve width, etc) in order to get full circumference. I try my best to be accurate but please allow a little room for error.
Pit-to-pit/chest width: 18"
Sleeve top of shoulder to bottom: 26"
Sleeve width: generally 8" but tapers wider toward sleeve end
Shoulder seam to shoulder seam: 13"
Total length, including any fringe: 37"
FIT NOTES: The intended fit is the same as any traditional jacket or coat. Please measure your own clothes/body and compare to the numbers above to ensure a fit that works for you. Modeled on 5'5", 38-30-44" body. This one would likely be best on someone smaller. If you have any fit questions, feel free to leave a comment on my most recent Instagram post (easiest way for me to see it and respond quickly).
CARE: Cool, gentle cycle. Hang to dry or low heat tumble.
